![]() Even without closing the ports, Bitdefender will notify you about it. There are more things, but this is enough to bypass them, don't waste your time and most importantly save the content that their app is trying to send. On January 15, Black Hat World asked them questions to which they are looking for answers, otherwise it will put them on the Sh** Lister and permanently ban them. They will never respond to mail, especially if you left a positive comment for $1 on Trustpilot, 2. Based on this, I can conclude that they want to make money that way until the users understand, ie. It will create a lot more network traffic that will never be paid for, to you, but will to them. I have sampled the traffic they generate on the computer, you can be sure they have become sub-providers and are selling your net to others who may have objectionable content. Consider whether you or your equipment is worth this much. TL DR: You're better off giving your time and data and selling it off to a more reputable company with better business practices that aren't shady.Įdited: Since I've researched what's happening with packetstream in the meantime, I can tell you that you might get paid once and something small, maybe $5 with a note to go to Trustpilot and enter a positive comment and get $1. It was no different from when my account wasn't banned. If you do get banned, do note that they will continue to take and use your data as well, I had monitored the data usage on the application when my account had been suspended. If you're fine with using this and receiving and expecting a single payment, then by all means go for it. I totally would not recommend it if you're looking for something stable and for the long-term without a doubt. ![]() ![]() I get the same error 500 that many people have as well. However, I am still rating and giving PacketStream 1 star simply because I had been banned after I had been paid. I had received payment within a few days after cash out, so they do indeed pay. It had taken a good while to reach the payout threshold, at least a solid 5 months before I did, and I was able to withdraw. First impressions are that it was a decent application that had seemed legitimate, and I didn't have any real issues with it. Had been using PacketStream since earlier this year. ![]()
